The Darkside

Just wanted to share this years fathers day cards, they have a theme!!!

My first card is for Hubby from our little man.

I created it in the silhouette studio software - using a technique called 'Knockout Text', which basically combines a picture into the words.

I watched this tutotial by Karin Adamczyk to learn the technique, then I cut my design in black and silver vinyl.

Then I made a simpler version for our Dads.

and for the inside

Yes we love Star Wars!!!!

Challenges I would like to enter:

Glitter n Sparkle - One for the boys (142)
Sentimental Sundays - Fathers Day
My Sheri Crafts - Masculine
Just Add Ink - Typography
4 Crafty Chicks - Fathers Day
Crafters Cafe - At the Movies
Silhouette Challenges - Anything Goes

and on a different note

HERE are the FIRST teasers leading up to our Sassy's SIXTH BIRTHDAY NEW RELEASE BLOG HOP & Party Chat!!! The excitement is ALWAYS building around Sassy Studios and the Design Team has been working really hard to make another round of amazingly Sassy creations for you all!!!! This release is extra special as you will be getting DOUBLE the amount of images!!!

BEFORE I show you the teasers, I want to explain how our NEW PRIZE system works - for those just joining us and as a refresher for previous hoppers!!!! For each day there is a teaser, you are to GUESS what you think each image is going to be (be specific!!). You must guess ON the teaser post of the SSD blog. For EACH correct guess, your name will go in a draw and you could win that image for that day! So, for example, if there are 10 images, 10 people will each win an image!! GREAT RIGHT?!?!?!? More prizes, more fun!!!!
